Among other things, I am president of a small software company,with the unlikely name of Llamagraphics, that makes a product called Life Balance(TM).

Life Balance is software that runs on Palm OS, Macintosh and Windows, (iPhone too now!) which helps people to balance career and personal life by making sure that you are working on what's really important to you and that you are spending an appropriate percentage of your time and effort where you want to. The software dynamically adjusts your task list based on feedback from what you check off, so if you spend all you time on tasks related to “work,”some “play” tasks will start to show up on your list to encourage you to switch gears. Ultimately, the software helps people to gain that feeling of living authentically, knowing that they are on track because all their tasks contribute to their long term goals and aspirations.

I deeply believe in the power of people to change their lives for the better and to live more in tune with the best of their own nature.

I enjoy helping people use our software to turn their wishes, dreams and aspirations into action plans with specific goals, projects and tasks. It's a repeatable process that you can use to brainstorm ideas, then focus your attention and energy to follow through.

Life is too short for “someday” thinking! I like to encourage people to “Dream Big” and also get started with small actions now!

I am using the blog here as a supportive environment to explore some different topics and ideas, and to kindle ideas for articles that I may reuse in other contexts.

I also intend to focus some topics this summer on my training for the Race for the Cure.
