I am not a mess. I bet, neither are you!

Paris Hilton, is a mess. Britney Spears... mess.
Must work on changing the whole culture to reward those who are not a mess.
Or become messier...
:-)
Now that's a disturbing little thought.
One that I do not actually believe is in anyone's best interest, least of all, my own.
Yet, I wonder if that kind of thought, in passing, is on anyone else's mind too... changing the world is tough to do, and if nobody notices all that effort, will we even bother?
Do these celebrity people really deserve our collective attention at all?
My feeling is not so much.
To find a healthy solution to that unhealthy little thought before it takes root anywhere among my Zaadster pals, I want to reward the goodhearted, the noble, the endearing, and the virtuous kind people of the world. Zaadzsters... this could be your big moment... the lights, the cameras are rolling (even if they are imaginary ones.)
So, collect your praise here.... right now in this little blog thread of mine. If you need some praise, and know in your heart that you have done something worthwhile, I am happy to give you a nod of appreciation for your efforts to save the planet, to change the world, and to make things better for those around you.
What have you done lately that you are really proud of?
Take a moment and shine....

Help

Make it Messier - Ha ha — sometimes that's what works. It has for me… unplaned as it were.
Dear Catherine I thought of you as I struggled through my 2 mile run for the military last weekend. It was a good thought due to what you've accomplished and continue to aspire too. Difficult run - against wind, very chilly out, etc. whatever… I / We made it. Your past efforts helped me do that!
I LOVE this blog entry. My advice to everyone is Turn Off the TV and go outside!
Real time, real space. If it's the computer that's hooked you - well walk away and go outside. Real Time, Real Space.
The enviroment you walk into might not be perfectfully beautiful yet it is real. Can you make it better? Or is it just perfect and beautiful as is.
I'm going on a Goodness Quest. Something I do every day yet I guess it's new to try and keep track of it. My results here… I am hopeful to keep track of this.
Two miles can seem a very long time when the wind is fighting you the whole way. It’s THE WIND, and you are not nearly as big and powerful as it is!
So good going!
I am very happy to know that my efforts helped you to see it through! You’ll be happy to know that I have worked back up to 3 miles in 33 minutes… and I am planning to run the Race for the Cure again in the fall. I will register on my aunt’s birthday. I also have a friend who is recovering from a bone marrow transplant who is encouraging me to try a 10 K with him later this summer or in the fall.
He used to run marathons, and wants to get back into it…. oh boy! I’m not sure I will be able to keep up with him! :-)
I’m also with you all the way on walking away from the television, or the computer in favor of the outside world.
Something real… with texture, light, sound… the outside world continues to be the best full sensaround experience, with the added advantage that it leaves you room for your own thoughts!
Thanks also for sending along the links to the Goodness quest… must investigate more closely, later… but for now… my mission is to heap some praise on your head for perseverence when things seemed really tough.
Well done indeed.
Hey how the hell are ya???
Messy as ever I hope!
Blessings, David
