Race for the Cure

I want to make Breast Cancer history. I want there to be a CURE immediately if not sooner! I want treatments to be more humane and less debilitating. I want the lifespans of those currently with cancer to increase and for the worry and stress on families to be eased. I want those who ogle bosoms online to spend some time, money and energy finding better ways to protect them! Since I am not a research biologist, I want to be able to participate in raising awareness and to make more research money available. One way to do that is for me to run either the National Race for the Cure in DC in June, or the Boston Race for the Cure in September this year. The 5K Race for the Cure event seems more attainable that the Avon Walk, or the 3 day walk for me right now, although I might do that later. So, for the moment, I am simply training and having faith that the right opportunity for me to do this will present itself.
